An unusual conserve, made from fresh green figs. Works just as well on toast for breakfast as it does with wine and cheese.

The Wilkin family has been farming in Tiptree Essex since 1757, and started making these preserves in 1885. They grow most of their produce and prepare all of their preserves on the farm.
